David Robbins - aka The Mad Inventor

We are a small family run business based in Weymouth in Dorset. Started selling my inventions to friends in 2007 before selling on a market platform in 2008.

First main invention was the 'Mighty White' a multi-purpose liquid filter for liquids such as waste vegetable oil, engine oil and water. This was in the Biodiesel industry and this filter proved very popular.

Then  came the 'No spill just fill' spout which helped to fill your vehicle with Biodiesel, diesel and petrol. To this day we still sell these inventions around the world.

Focusing now on rainwater harvesting we build filters for ibc's/totes which will filter rainwater coming from a building roof. All hand made with attention to detail and the best materials we could source. And we cater for those who wish something different and build bespoke filters.

Always looking to discover and build new inventions which will save time and possibly money.

And to spread the word we opened our on line shop - TMI Shop in 2025 where we will sell our inventions and ship anywhere in the world, with greater connection to our customers and still offer a first class service.

You don't have to be Mad to be an inventor but it helps. And that is where we came up with the brand The Mad Inventor.
